Coming Attractions: Aviation PROs Live

Feb. 5, 2013
Something for everyone in the aviation industry.

We're putting the finishing touches on our upcoming AviationPros LIVE show, March 13-14, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

We are very pleased to partner with Boyd Group International for next month’s event. Michael Boyd, chairman of Boyd Group International, will outline the major issues facing aviation today and provide insight into the best and worst outcomes for the key concerns.

In addition to providing the keynote address at the show, Boyd will hold two educational sessions titled The New Skyscape and Navigating The New Future. Both of these sessions are promised to provide insight valuable to all aviation segments; general aviation, airlines, airports, and FBOs.

Ground Support Worldwide will host two seminars each on March 13:

  • Funding Options For Electric GSE, 11 a.m.-12 noon

Neal Wolfe, a senior consultant with LeighFisher, willdiscuss not just VALE grants, but other state and local alternatives.

  • The State Of The Electric GSE Market, 2-3 p.m.

A panel discussion including GSE professionals from US Airways and Allen Energy will analyze the results of a survey of Ground Support Worldwide readers on their buying trends for electric equipment.

Also, we’ll be announcing the winners of our Ground Support Leaders at the Opening Night Reception, 6 p.m., March 13.

Of course, the aircraft maintenance highlight is the ever popular AMTSociety Maintenance Skills Competition. The volunteer board members of the AMTSociety are busy planning for this premier aircraft maintenance event. The list of teams already registered for this friendly competition of maintenance tasks from all segments of aviation is growing and again several international teams will be there.
