NBAA Lands in Atlanta

Oct. 14, 2010
The National Business Aviation Association or NBAA holds its 63rd Annual Meeting and Convention next week October 19, 20, and 21, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the huge event where tens of thousands of attendees gather to view and discuss the latest products and services, industry trends, network with others, and attend more than 100 education sessions relating to business aviation. Business aviation, although only one segment of the aviation industry, makes up a very important one, one that is vital to the entire aviation industry. Aircraft from single engine to turboprops, from jets to helicopters, all play a vital role in accomplishing business throughout the world on a daily basis. The latest information found on the NBAA website lists more than 900 exhibitors with aircraft being displayed at the nearby DeKalb Peachtree Airport. Visit www.nbaa.org for the latest information relating to the convention. AMT looks forward to reporting back to you on relevant news, trends, and activities learned while attending the convention. My schedule is rapidly filling with meetings and seminars. Two relevant events I plan to attend are both the NATA Maintenance Committee meeting scheduled to be held on Monday, October 18th and the NBAA Maintenance Committee meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday, October 19th. The AMTSociety in partnership with NBAA will be holding a technician training seminar on Monday, October 18th which can be used for IA Renewal. Visit www.amtsociety.org for more information and registration. How many of you will be attending the NBAA convention next week? If so what activities will you be attending; technical seminars, training sessions, exhibits, networking events; we’d like to hear from you. If you are there, please stop by the Cygnus Aviation booth, #8515-#8517, where you can visit with the AMT staff and meet other members of the Cygnus Aviation team. See you in Atlanta, Ron
