National Air Transportation Association (NATA)
Tom Hendricks brings to Airport Business an extensive background in aviation, with airlines, in general aviation and as the president and CEO of the National Air Transportation Association, a position he’s held since July 2012. Prior to joining NATA, he was senior vice president of safety, security and operations for Airlines for America (A4A) beginning in June 2010. In this role, he was responsible for the technical and operational functions of A4A and developing and shaping A4A regulatory positions on flight operations, safety, engineering, air traffic management and security. He co-chaired both the ADS-B In Aviation Rulemaking Committee and the Working Subcommittee of the NextGen Advisory Committee. Prior to joining A4A, Hendricks oversaw day-to-day flight operations at Delta Air Lines as director of operations. The retired Air Force Reserve colonel and career fight pilot also served active duty as a U.S. Navy officer on the USS Midway and as an instructor pilot at the U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School.

As the chief information officer and deputy executive director with Los Angeles World Airports for nearly seven years, Dom Nessi stands poised to bring his expertise in information management and technology to Airport Business. Nessi is responsible for all information management and technology functions at three airports: Los Angeles International Airport, Van Nuys Airport, and Ontario International Airport. His role includes oversight and management of all airfield and landside support, business and administrative information systems and functions such as Common-Use Support Processing, flight and baggage information terminal paging, automated vehicle identification, airport badging system and parking systems.He also oversees all airport public safety security, including access control systems, closed circuit TVs, video management systems, digital trunked radio, computer-aided dispatch and other security-related systems. Nessi also manages/supports the technology component of major capital improvement projects.

Rosemary Vassiliadis brings to Airport Business a wealth of experience and knowledge in operating commercial service and general aviation airports. Vassiliadis was named Clark County Director of Aviation in March 2013, after serving as its deputy director of aviation since 1997. In her current role, she oversees all operations at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, as well as general aviation airports in North Las Vegas, Henderson, Jean and Overton, Nev. Vassiliadis, who manages the work of 1,500 employees, is the 11th person to lead Clark County’s aviation system since McCarran was established in 1948, and is the first woman to serve as director. Under her leadership, the airport has developed an industry-leading security program while maintaining a strong commitment to world-class customers. Since 2011, she has overseen McCarran’s efforts as an executive board member of the U.S. Travel Association, an association that promotes American travel interests domestically and worldwide.

David Saleme brings to Airport Business more than 16 years of experience in aviation revenue development, including terminal and concessions development, aviation-related business development, aviation real estate management, terminal marketing, developing new business initiatives, aviation and business law, and rental car management. Saleme joined the Columbus Regional Airport Authority in October 1996.He is a member of the Digital Signage Expo’s Advisory Board representing the transportation section. Throughout his time with CRAA he has been responsible for terminal and concessions development at Port Columbus International Airport which includes terminal advertising and marketing. Saleme manages the in-airport advertising program, which includes, in addition to the award-winning 72-screen video wall system, more than 30 additional digital advertising screens throughout the terminal, including multiple advertising supported interactive digital courtesy phone kiosks, and the external digital billboard program. Saleme’s other efforts at Port Columbus International Airport include the negotiating and drafting of concessions agreements, bid packages, requests for proposal, land and building leases, airline lease amendments, minimum standards, and other agreements with a broad spectrum of airport tenants and operators.

John Segaert brings a world-class point of view to Airport Business. In March 2013, Dubai Airports appointed Segaert, a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in airport and airline operations as its new chief information officer. Segaert joined Dubai Airports from Air Canada where he led various projects from 2000-2013, including the development and construction of a new operations center. As the general manager of Toronto Airport Operations he oversaw the airline’s day-to-day operations for all aspects of hub development for Canada’s largest international airport. Prior to managing the hub’s operations, Segaert led strategic planning and program delivery for moving Air Canada’s operations into the airport’s newly constructed Terminal 1.
Bobbi Thompson, C.A.E.

Bobbi Thompson brings to Airport Business a point of view that ranges from FBO management to airport operations. She is the chief operating officer of ABS Aviation, an international FBO holding and airport management company; and executive vice president of Airport Business Solutions. She is also the president of the Nevada Airports Association. ABS Aviation is currently contracted by Douglas County to manage Minden-Tahoe Airport where Thompson has served as the airport manager for the past four years. Over her 40-year career, Thompson has made presentations to airports, produced air shows and completed airport projects in 12 other countries. Her career has included: FAA contract assignments, aviation consulting for more than 1,400 airports/FBOs, multiple speaking engagements promoting aviation and careers in aviation, more than 100 various airport policy documents and she is currently working with the Nevada’s Governor’s office in developing drone manufacturing opportunities for the State of Nevada.

Yvonne Putze brings a unique point of view serving as the director of products and marketing for EPIC, an aviation fuel supplier with primary operations throughout the United States and Canada. Putze has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Buena Vista University and has worked in marketing for more than 25 years. She resides in Oregon and works out of the EPIC Salem, Ore., headquarters.Putze has extensive expertise with brand strategy, event marketing, public relations, social media, collateral development and advertising. The last several years of her professional experience have been within the aviation industry. She is the vice chair of the NBAA Exhibitor Advisory Committee and is an active member in the American Marketing Association. Putze is also a volunteer with Make-A-Wish as an ambassador board member and is preparing to become a Wish Granter for the organization.
