Take a look at the impressive display of ground support as the A380 made its maiden voyage
Officials at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport welcomed A380 service to Frankfurt, Germany aboard Lufthansa Flight LH 441 on Aug. 1.
Among the improvements made by the Houston Airport System to accommodate the world's largest passenger plane were a new elevated walkway and passenger loading bridge. Construction crews also built new foundations and structure support, electrical updates and added two fuel double-hydrants in the apron.
