A lifelong love of aviation led Kevin Wilkerson to the business aviation industry.
Wilkerson joined Colt International in 2004 and, over the past eight years, the Texas Christian University grad has shot up the ranks at the international fuel and trip support firm.
The sales star was handpicked in 2007 to create and lead Colt’s marketing and business development team. In addition to overseeing all advertising, website content, product development, and tradeshow logistics, Wilkerson was responsible for ensuring Colt’s message resonated with its 4,500+ flight department customers around the world.
Early this summer, he was tapped to energize and reinforce Colt’s $300 million supply network. The youngest vice president in the company, his responsibilities now include working directly with suppliers at more than 2,000 business aviation airports.
Wilkerson has also expanded his influence outside of Colt. He is a member and sub-committee chair of the National Business Aviation Association’s S & D committee. Wilkerson is also a long-time supporter of the David C. Winter Foundation, a charity that raises funds to benefit cancer research and prevention initiatives.
In addition, the avid aviation enthusiast recently took his first flight lesson. With all of Wilkerson’s business success, he is most proud of his roles as husband to his wife of nine years and father to his three daughters.
