Ghizlane Badawi is currently responsible for ongoing development and implementation of enterprise risk management; assistance with annual strategic planning process development and facilitation; management of ABIA’s participation in ACI’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer satisfaction survey program, including benchmarking and data analysis; and various business process consulting and assurance projects geared to add value to the organization.

For FY12-13, Badawi is focused on continued implementation of the organization’s enterprise risk management program and integrating it further into the strategic planning process. Badawi has also assisted the organization in developing and implementing a strategic planning approach for special events. Additionally, she has written articles and delivered airport presentations regarding ABIA’s customer service program. Badawi has also developed and provided training to organization work groups on risk identification and response.

Badawi is an active participant in various professional networks and associations such as the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA), and the ASQ Airport Forum.

Above all, Badawi is dedicated to continuous improvement in the performance of our airport. She is a collaborative team player and never tires of “going above and beyond” to help airport personnel and divisions achieve their objectives, with the ultimate goal of exceeding our performance targets and customer expectations.

Ghizlane Badawi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in International Business. She also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Before joining the aviation industry, Badawi's work experience included banking, insurance, audit and consulting, information systems/technology, sales, and customer service.
