The 2006 Rapco calendar is hot off the press. Once again, Rapco and AMT asked for your participation in the photo contest for the calendar.
We received many photos, but only 12 could be chosen to be in the calendar and out of those, only one would take the honor of being on the cover and winning the grand prize of the Dell computer.
After much consideration, the Rapco team chose Doug Lannom as the grand prize winner. Contratulations to Doug on being selected as this year’s winner. Congratulations as well to all the other skilled photogaphers who had their photos chosen to accompany Doug within the pages of the calendar.
This is a good opportunity to encourage your participation in two other photo opportunities that AMT has going on — our online photo slide show and our 2006 Readers in Action contest.
AMTonline.com Photo Slide Show. If you have been to AMTonline.com lately, you probably noticed the photo slideshow on the main page. I had our web site gurus develop this capability for us a few weeks back. We are welcoming contributed photos to be posted on the slideshow. If you were to have your photo considered for placement in the slideshow, send us the electronic image. We will regularly post new photos to our web site. Do you have a print image you would like to send in? Send that in to us. Be sure to include your name and a brief caption so we can give proper credit. Then be sure to log on to AMTonline.com regularly to see all the photos that have been posted.
Another great opportunity for all you shutterbugs is our third-annual Readers in Action photo contest. Our January/February cover shot will be reserved for one lucky AMT reader. The winning photographer will receive $250.00! So send us that photo of you and/or your co-workers in action. Be creative and have fun! Remember, extra consideration will be given for photos that include an issue of AMT in the picture. If you are sending electonic images for this contest, please be sure that they are high-resolution (300 dpi). Photos must be received by Dec. 15.
