Engine Stand Kit
Aircraft Tool Supply offers the ATS Aircraft Engine Stand kit. It is built to the same standards as its original Aircraft Engine Stand (65520CX). This kit comes with pre-drilled adapter blocks to fit most Continental and Lycoming engines. It has also included a set of locking casters to complete the kit. The engine stand is shipped unassembled, with easy to assemble instructions. It bolts together in minutes using just a 1/2-inch wrench and no welding is necessary. It can support more than 1,200 pounds and ships as a regular sized package, not oversized or dim weight. For more information call (800) 248-0638 or visit www.aircraft-tool.com.

The AeroPoint jacks utilize an all mechanical system to negate the ill effects of potential hydraulic failure as in common hydraulic jacks. This allows the jacks to maintain positive holding power at all times, during and after jacking. This eliminates the need for an operator to engage backup safety holding devices which usually are effective after jacking only. The mechanical design further utilizes the benefit of cordless drills/drivers to power the jack. The use of modern 14.4- or 18-volt cordless drills (with a low speed range of 400 to 500 rpm with a minimum of 400 inch-pounds) makes light work of lifting an aircraft. Included is a crank to operate the jacks manually. The compact design allows the operator to easily select the right height for the job. The jacks come in two sizes: short (23 to 45 inches) and tall (34 to 76 inches) and are on collapsing casters. The pyramid shape allows the stand to be filled with ballast to a maximum total weight of 500 pounds. For more information visit www.AeroPointInd.com.
The Night Com Xenon/LED from Streamlight features multiple lighting modes including state-of-the-art LED night vision protection. The flashlight is ideal for aircraft mechanics and other professionals who occasionally work under low-light conditions because it preserves and optimizes night vision. A special mode select dial allows users to choose from three lighting positions — two Ultra-Bright red or safety green LEDs when the light will be used for an extended period of time, a Xenon bulb when high-intensity light is needed, and one low-power red or safety green LED to provide optimum night vision protection. The Night Com light features a 4.8-volt Xenon bulb, providing 72 lumens (typical) of incandescent light for a maximum of 2.5 hours. The two Ultra-Bright LEDs offer up to 8 lumens (typical) of LED light, while the Indicator Type LED is able to preserve complete dark adaptation per MIL-1472D. The LEDs feature a run time of up to 28 hours and last for 100,000 hours. For more information visit www.streamlight.com or call (800) 523-7488.
