Different ways to learn about new products

This issue marks the two-year anniversary of the launch of AMT Tools & Equipment. It has become a popular addition to the AMT editorial offering, and gives us more opportunities to highlight the latest tools and equipment available for aircraft maintenance professionals.

In addition to AMT and AMT Tools & Equipment, there are other ways AMT helps you stay informed of the latest aircraft maintenance products. On the interactive side, if you are signed up to receive emails from AMT, you will receive e-Product showcases. In addition, each monthly mailing of AMTe, our monthly industry insider newsletter, contains new product announcements. Not signed up to receive our electronic newsletters? No problem, you can sign up now. It’s easy — just go to AMTonline.com and go to the box titled “eNewsletter Sign Up” on the left-hand side of the home page. Click on the newsletters and industry briefs you want to receive, enter your email address, and you are on your way to receiving our electronic newsletters and industry briefs.

Do you need to search for product information by product category? AMTonline.com’s buyer’s guide gives you the ability to look up product manufacturers and is sorted by product categories. Check out amtonline.com/buyersguide.

For a hands-on opportunity to learn about the latest aircraft maintenance products and services, AMT and AMTSociety are partners with Aviation Industry Expo. Next year’s show promises to be THE aircraft maintenance event of the year, and will take place March 18-20 at the Dallas Convention Center. In addition to new product information, Aviation Industry Expo gives attendees the opportunity to obtain IA renewal credits, sit in on professional development and technical seminars, and network with industry peers. If you are considering going to the show, you may want to get there a day early. AMTSociety will be hosting a golf tournament on Monday, March 17. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the AMTSociety scholarships program. For more information about Aviation Industry Expo visit AviationIndustryExpo.com. And be sure to visit AMTonline.com and AMTSociety.org on a regular basis to stay informed of all the maintenance-related events that will take place at next year’s show.
