A new face in the pages of Aircraft Maintenance Technology is Nick Sergi. He will be our Director of Content and will be attending major shows thoughout the year. His views of the maintenance side of the industry will be available in the pages of the magazine and on our web site.

Nick was with FlightSafety International for more than 34 years retiring as director, maintenance training services. He was also involved with the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association being a board member for more than 10 years and chairing the conventions in 1995 and 1996.

He knows the issues facing aircraft mechanics and wants to be involved with the No. 1 aircraft maintenance magazine in the industry.

AMT is approaching its 20th anniversary. Our mission is to serve you, the aviation maintenance community. We will continue to provide technical, managerial, and professional development information that will enable you to perform your job more efficiently. AMT will continue to deliver information that is relevant to aircraft mechanics in your day-to-day jobs and your career development: new technology, best practices, safety procedures, training opportunities, new products, and changes in regulations.

Like the article in this issue on airframe interiors, as a service provider we want your time with AMT to be pleasurable and productive. We need to hear from you as to what you like, what you don’t, so we can continue to meet your needs.

We are rebuilding the AMT team but our focus is still on you, the aircraft mechanic.
