Fresh from the trade show floor in Las Vegas, AMT returns from the 3rd Annual AMTSociety Maintenance Skills Competition (MSC). The 2010 MSC was quite an event, with nearly double the number of teams competing over last year and more prizes for the participants 2010 was a true success for all. A big thanks to Maintenance Skills Competition Chairman, Ken MacTiernan and the rest of the AMTSociety board of directors for doing a great job setting up the competition and keeping all the events running ever so smoothly.
Congratulations to our first place team winners: The AMTSociety golf tournament was bigger and better than ever! More than 100 golfers came out to the Rio Secco golf course this year and with a door prize for everyone this was a special event. I would like to thank all the sponsors who donated equipment, staff, and prizes to help make the AMTSociety program a great success and fun for everyone who participated.
Looking forward to next year’s MSC events; be sure to get your competition team signed up and mark those calendars for Feb. 23-25, 2011 in Las Vegas.
Until next time we’ll see you online: forums.AMTonline.com.
