Jazz Crew Schedulers Ratify Labour Agreement
This agreement marks the end of the negotiation process with all Jazz labour groups.
CAW represents approximately 43 Crew Schedulers employed at Jazz.
"I sincerely thank our employees and representatives from the CAW for their commitment to reach this new collective agreement," said Joseph D. Randell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jazz. "The conclusion of this agreement marks the end of the negotiation process with all our labour groups."
Jazz's Technical Services (Maintenance and Engineering) division ratified its agreement on September 12, 2009 and the airline's Customer Services and Aircraft Services divisions ratified their agreement on December 16, 2009. Both groups are represented by the CAW.
Jazz's Dispatchers ratified their collective agreement on March 27, 2010.
Jazz's Pilots ratified their collective agreement on July 9, 2010.
Jazz's Flight Attendants ratified their collective agreement on July 16, 2010.
Jazz is the second largest airline in Canada based on fleet size, operating approximately 840 flights daily to 84 destinations in Canada and the United States.
