¦ Dnata Switzerland Achieves ISAGO Accreditation: Dnata Switzerland announced it has become the first ground-handling operation in Switzerland to achieve ISAGO accreditation, having successfully passed audits for both the head office and station operations in Zurich. The ISAGO program is an audit system conducted in a standardized and consistent manner, using internationally recognized quality auditing principles. The Zurich ISAGO accreditation is applicable to the following ground handling services provided to customers: station management, load control, passenger handling, baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading, aircraft ground movement, and cargo and mail handling.

¦ JBT Corporation Holds Grand Opening Ceremony for AeroTech Plant in China: JBT Corporation announced that its JBT AeroTech business hosted a grand opening ceremony for a new manufacturing facility located in mainland China. The opening of the 4,000-square-meter factory located in Shenzhen will enable JBT AeroTech to meet the growing emerging market demand for airport support equipment.

¦ U.S. Airlines Post Seventh Consecutive Month of Revenue Growth: The Air Transport Association of America reported that passenger revenue, based on a sample group of carriers, rose 20 percent in July 2010 compared to the same month in 2009, marking the seventh consecutive month of revenue growth. The pace of improvement slowed from the 25 percent year-over-year gain realized in June.

¦ JBT Announces U.S. Navy Order for Halvorsen 25K Loaders: JBT AeroTech has been awarded a contract exceeding $7 million by
the United States Navy for 10 Halvorsen 25K Loaders. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2010 and continue through the second quarter of 2011. The Halvorsen 25K Loader is used by the military to load, unload and transport palletized cargo on both military and commercial aircraft. JBT AeroTech has now delivered more than 470 Halvorsen 25K Loaders to the United States military and international forces.

¦ Singapore Airport Terminal Services Changes Name to SATS: Singapore Airport Terminal Services Limited announced that it has changed its name to SATS Ltd. The name change is effected to better reflect the full spectrum of SATS’ business and focus as it continues to leverage its competencies in gateway services and food solutions to grow in and outside of Singapore.

¦ Aviapartner Announces Award of ISAGO Certificates: Aviapartner announced it was awarded the International Air Transport Association Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certificates in Nice, Milan Malpensa and Lyon, following the successful completion of comprehensive audits. Aviapartner was the first multi-station European ground handler to be ISAGO registered in January 2010 with Amsterdam. After this, Aviapartner continued to implement the program in each country where it provides handling services. Frankfurt appeared on the Registry in March, followed by Brussels, Dusseldorf and Munich in June. This list was extended in August with Nice, Milan Malpensa and Lyon, making Aviapartner the first handler on the ISAGO registry in each of the five following countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Italy.
