OCCK will be providing a new transportation option for people using the Salina Regional Airport. Effective Nov. 7, a daily Monday through Friday shuttle service will pick up passengers within the city limits of Salina and deliver them to the airport to catch the afternoon flight to Denver. A daily shuttle will also be available for passengers disembarking the afternoon flight from Denver.
The OCCK Airport Shuttle Bus would pick up passengers at various locations around Salina and deliver them to the airport terminal by 12:30 p.m. to board the 2:06 p.m. flight to Denver, Monday through Friday. Passengers would need to call OCCK Transportation at 826-1583, by 4 p.m. the prior day, to schedule a pick up location and time. Shuttle reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance. The cost to passengers for the shuttle will be $2.
The OCCK Airport Shuttle Bus will also be waiting at the airport terminal at 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to pick up passengers from the 1:51 p.m. flight from Denver that need rides to destinations within the Salina city limits. No reservations are necessary for this shuttle. Passengers merely inform the driver of their destination. The cost to passengers for this shuttle will also be $2.00. Exact fares will be needed as drivers are not able to make change.
