Japan Post Awards $1.5M to Astrophysics Inc.

Japan Post Service Co. Ltd. (Japan Post) awarded Astrophysics Inc. a contract for delivery of seventy-one (71) X-ray units starting in January. Japan Post is a post, logistics and courier service based in Tokyo, and will be replacing older X-ray units with new Astrophysics systems.

The X-ray units will be installed at post offices in 60 Japanese cities and will scan parcels and mail traveling throughout the country.

Regarding the award, Astrophysics, Inc. CEO Francois Zayek stated, "We are proud to be given the opportunity to protect the facilities of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. and are confident that the security systems they have purchased will fulfill perfectly their specific mission in securing their postal and logistics services."
