Sept. 29, 2016

Arup announced that Jenny Buckley, Associate Principal, has been named aviation business leader for Arup in the Americas.

“Jenny’s leadership qualities are exceptional,” said Ian Taylor, Arup’s global aviation leader. “She brings both engineering expertise and an understanding of airport operations to her work—two invaluable assets for working with the constantly evolving field of aviation.”

“I look forward to continuing the vision established by my much admired colleague Susan Baer, who recently passed away,” said Buckley. “My colleagues at Arup are the best in the world, and together we will continue to provide our partners in the aviation industry with efficient, resilient, and practical solutions designed to advance their businesses.”

A chartered civil and structural engineer, Buckley joined Arup in 1998. In her career with the firm, she has specialized in leading multidisciplinary teams through design and construction in a broad range of aviation-related projects. Arup’s aviation services range from strategic airport planning to program delivery and operations consulting. The firm’s global aviation team is dedicated to helping clients achieve their commercial and operational objectives, putting the passenger experience at the center of everything they do.
