Avionica VP of Engineering Simone Drakes Named AMT 2018 Next Gen 40 Under 40 Award Winner

Aircraft Maintenance Technology Magazine presents the “40 Under 40” award to individuals under 40 who have demonstrated leadership roles in the field of aircraft maintenance.

MIAMI – October 24, 2018 – Avionica Vice President of Engineering (FAA, DER) Simone Drakes is a recipient of this year’s “40 Under 40” award from Aircraft Maintenance Technology Magazine, a publication for aircraft maintenance professionals that is focused on the latest technology and maintenance best practices, as well as business trends and outlooks.                                      

Aircraft Maintenance Technology Magazine presents the “40 Under 40” award to individuals under 40 who have demonstrated leadership roles in the field of aircraft maintenance.  Ms. Drakes and the other recipients of the award were honored in the September 2018 issue of AMT Magazine where the Next Gen 40 Under 40 Awards are an annual feature.

This is the second such honor bestowed upon Ms. Drakes in 2018, coming on the heels of being honored in the South Florida Business Journal’s Forty under 40 Awards in May (http://bit.ly/2BYYSYd).
