American Airlines Chooses Indect as the Preferred Parking Guidance System for their New Employee Training Facility in Fort Worth

Dec. 10, 2018

American Airlines has chosen Indect as the preferred parking guidance system for their new employee training facility in Fort Worth.

The 1.8 million square-foot training center will have five training buildings, seven parking garages and enough space to accommodate 11,000 employees.

Locally-based parking guidance experts, Parking Guidance Systems (PGS), have been awarded the installation contract for the four main garages with the remaining smaller garages to be completed at a later date.

“It’s a massive installation,” said Derek Frantz, Head of Business Development at Parking Guidance Systems (PGS). “We are only halfway through the project and we’ve already installed sensors to monitor 12,000 spaces.”

“By the time we’re finished there will be more than 18,000 monitored spaces on site, all controlled by the Indect parking guidance software.” said Frantz.

“One of the great things about the Indect system is that it is super easy to install and 99.9% accurate.  Once it’s up and running, there’s nothing else that needs to be done. You can walk away knowing that your client will be happy, and that’s a good feeling.” he said.

Numerous monument signs and large matrix signs will also feature throughout the parking garages. These signs will display not only the number of available spaces but also various informational messages as needed.

The American Airlines installation is scheduled for completion in early 2020.
