Rectrix Aviation Announces Summer Passenger Service Between Cape Cod and New York

May 29, 2018

Rectrix Aviation announced the introduction of non-stop New York LaGuardia to Nantucket service with convenient connecting service to Cape Cod. Scheduled flights begin May 31. The Rectrix Shuttle will depart from the Sheltair gate at the Marine Air Terminal at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and arrive at the Rectrix gate at Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK). From Nantucket, Rectrix offers easy connecting service to Hyannis on Cape Cod. Flight time from LGA to ACK is about one hour.

The summer shuttle service will operate on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Rectrix’s streamlined and hassle-free boarding process allows passengers to go directly from the check-in gate to the plane, bypassing terminals crowded with summer travelers.

“The Rectrix Shuttle Service will be the most convenient way to travel between New York City and Nantucket this summer,” said Rectrix CEO Richard Cawley. “People in the Northeast cherish their summer weather and weekend getaways. Our Shuttle Service provides an easy way to make the most of the season.”

Rectrix will service the route with its Beech Super King Air B300 turbo-props. Every flight is commanded by two pilots in keeping with Rectrix Aviation’s ARG/US Platinum Safety Rating. The aircraft features nine leather passenger seats.
