NewLeaf Travel Company to be Renamed on 1st Anniversary

Flair Airlines Ltd. on July 25, announced that it has officially re named NewLeaf Travel Company to Flair Airlines. This, follows the June 7, announcement of the acquisition of NewLeaf Travel Company’s assets by the Kelowna based company, Flair Airlines.

The announcement falls on the one year anniversary of when Flair and NewLeaf launched their first flights in Canada. 

“We are starting a new chapter in the airline industry.  Today we celebrate a significant milestone of successfully reaching our 1 year mark, and we are excited to now move forward with a new brand that better reflects who we are as one unified company,” stated Chris Lapointe vice president, commercial operations, Flair Airlines.

Over the past year, Flair has flown 320,000 passengers and completed more than 2600 flights throughout Canada with a commitment to offering low fares.  Flair Airlines will continue to provide Canadians with the most affordable air travel options available and has plans to expand its route network over the coming weeks.  “We are focused on growing not only our destination list,” said Lapointe, “but are also widening our view of the travel industry as a whole.  We look forward to sharing more information regarding these offerings in the coming weeks.”
