Marilake Aerosystems, the independent Avionics, Instrument and Galley Equipment repair workshop based in Ferndown, Dorset, UK announced further enhancements to its Galley Insert Repair Division.
Commented Gerry Griffiths, managing director, “Following interest from a number of our larger customers, we launched our Galley Equipment Repair Division earlier this year which coincided with a move to larger premises within the Peartree Business Centre. Despite the global downturn in commercial aviation due to the pandemic, we have seen steady growth in galley repairs which complement our core services such as the repair of avionics and instrumentation, gyroscopic instrumentation, internal and external lighting, pressure switches and probes. We have introduced a number of improved efficiency measures within the Galley Workshop to further reduce TAT’s and continue to invest in tooling and equipment. We have also begun to invest in carefully selected Galley Inserts such as Coffee Makers and Ovens for lease or exchange. As an independent workshop, Marilake is renowned for its affordability, fast TAT’s and outstanding levels of customer service. We are delighted to be able to add the repair of galley equipment to our capability.”
