HAECO Americas Announces Corporate Leadership Changes

Oct. 23, 2015

Greensboro, NC, 22 October 2015 – HAECO Americas announced several changes today to its corporate leadership team, including the promotions of Mark Peterman to President of HAECO Cabin Solutions and of Jose Pevida to Senior Vice President of Engineering for HAECO Cabin Solutions. David Kelly has also been hired as the company’s new Vice President of Marketing and Strategy.

Mark Peterman has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of HAECO Cabin Solutions, formerly known as TIMCO Aerosystems, for three years and has been with the company since 1996. Mark played a critical role in helping to organize the interiors engineering and production functions as a stand-alone business unit within HAECO Americas. Mark is authorized by the FAA as a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and gained extensive experience as a structural engineer earlier in his career.

Jose Pevida has deep experience in design engineering and certification through a 26-year career in the field; he started with the company as a project engineer in 1996. Jose helped lead the company through the stringent approval process to earn Organization Delegation Authorization (ODA) which brings HAECO Cabin Solutions to an industry leader position, with capability of designing, testing and certifying aircraft interiors integration projects completely in-house. Both Mark and Jose have been involved in the development of HAECO Americas’ aircraft seating, which includes the acclaimed new Vector™ seat platform.

Kevin Carter, CEO of HAECO Americas and Group Director Cabin Solutions, said, “Both Mark and Jose have made significant contributions towards the growth of our interiors business to our position today as a leader in the sector. We look forward to their continued efforts to make HAECO a provider of choice for integration services and interior products.”

David Kelly joins the company with an extensive background in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and aircraft interiors industry sectors. Most recently, David led market research and strategic development for another aircraft interiors company, playing an important part in new product development, business acquisition assessment and promotions activities. David will head similar marketing efforts for all of HAECO Americas’ business units, carefully coordinating efforts within the broader HAECO Group.

“We are privileged to welcome David to our HAECO family,” said Carter. “He is certainly well-qualified to help us develop products, services and capabilities across our MRO and interiors businesses to deliver the greatest value for our customers.”

David will work from the HAECO Americas’ corporate offices in Greensboro, while Mark and Jose will move to offices in the new HAECO Cabin Solutions facility opening in Greensboro by early 2016.
