Fairhope, AL March 4, 2015 -- AMRO, an up and coming leader in the aviation component MRO industry, is proud to have received the FAA's 2014 Diamond Award for Training Excellence. The FAA annually recognizes maintenance organizations and personnel that provide and/or receive industry specific training. To achieve the Diamond status, the organization must have 100% of its AMT's perform extensive in an eligible training program.
Education and training are core values for AMRO. The importance of maintaining a staff of highly qualified personnel is paramount. Therefore AMRO on top of the AMT training program, has Operations and Quality Department leaders hold and maintain Inspection Authorization (IA) ratings, the highest certificate that the FAA issues to an AMT. While this is almost unheard of in the 145 Repair Station world, AMRO’s dedication to quality and training demands such action.
