Building on its VIP cabin completion activity, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre has been appointed as the Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) by two customers in Asia for the outfitting phase of their ACJ aircraft.

Since the beginning of 2014, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in Airbus Corporate Jet VIP cabin completion and customised nose-to-tail services, has shown its ability to answer ACJ operators’ needs by contracting for more and more VIP services.

Building on its VIP cabin completion activity, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre has been appointed as the Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) by two customers in Asia for the outfitting phase of their ACJ aircraft, entrusting the company to manage Airworthiness Directive monitoring and Service Bulletin recommendations.

Having signed a VIP Pass agreement for 2013, the operator of two governmental Airbus ACJ319s in Eastern Europe has extended the duration of its contract for a second year. Launched in 2009, VIP Pass is a total support package of nose-to-tail customised maintenance solutions, fully dedicated to the specific needs of Airbus corporate jet operators, including maintenance checks, complete component  support and CAMO engineering.

In terms of maintenance programmes, the company has performed A-checks and six-year checks for three main customers that have renewed their confidence in the ACJC team. In parallel, the company has also signed a five-year General Terms Agreement for maintenance support services with one of the largest ACJ operators in the Middle-East.

Covering a broad range of services, ACJC has implemented the first sharklets retrofit on ACJ319 and ACJ320 for two customers from the Middle-East and Asia. ACJC has also provided entry into service support services for several customers, following delivery of their aircraft.

“Further to our successes as an MRO provider in 2013, our first 2014 results confirm that we are the best placed to provide ACJ customers with a wide range of dedicated cabin and airframe services,” says Bruno Galzin, Head of ACJC Sales & Marketing. “We have been consolidating our position as the unique expert, fully dedicated to ACJ operators’ specific needs,” he concludes.

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre

Dedicated to providing quality cabin-outfitting and innovative packages of customised nose-to-tail services for Airbus ACJ family aircraft, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) is small enough to provide personal service to customers, with around 270 employees, but is also backed by the full resources of its shareholder, Airbus, the world's largest manufacturer of modern airliners.

Based in Toulouse, France, ACJC has already contracted with prestigious customers in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. It attributes its success to a strong technical background, plus highly skilled employees. Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is now the world leader for ACJ319/ACJ320 VIP cabin completion having delivered 26 VIP cabins for Airbus aircraft (including 13 delivered by the workforce when it was part of EADS Sogerma).

The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre also specialises in tailor-made services and maintenance for ACJs, including the A320, A330 and A340 families. Increasing its teams and the capacity of its facilities, in 2009 the company launched VIP Pass, a package of nose-to-tail services developed for executive and private operators of Airbus corporate jets.
