Legacy Aviation Services Opens Regional Parts and Logistics Operations to Serve Growing Latin American Customer Base

Dec. 17, 2013
In addition to customer support services, the new office will supply a broad selection of common spare and replacement parts ready for pick-up.

Yukon, Oklahoma – December 17, 2013 To better serve a rapidly growing customer base from Central and South America including Mexico, Legacy Aviation has opened a new international sales office in Miami, Florida. Along with on-site aircraft systems expertise, the fully staffed regional office has the same support and experience that is the hallmark of the Legacy Aviation’s MRO team at the company’s headquarters on C.E. Page Airport (KRCE), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In addition to customer support services, the new office will supply a broad selection of common spare and replacement parts ready for pick-up. Also, with so many direct flights from Miami to major cities in the region, Legacy will now be able to fill a majority of orders faster than ever before.

Raul (RJ) Gomez, Legacy’s CEO, opened the new regional office in the fall of 2013 in response to the rapid growth in Legacy’s south of the border customers. “Legacy’s business is focused on providing outstanding service and timely execution of that service. We have found tremendous success with our Latin American clients by providing a bilingual team that makes it convenient for our Spanish-speaking customers to receive the personalized service they deserve. That, combined with our intimate knowledge of the popular turbo-prop and jet airframes that fly in South America (such as Turbo Commanders, King Airs and 500 series Citations), made the decision to expand our operations a logical one.”

Mr. Gomez emphasizes the synergy Legacy now has with his expanded locations, “Should customers require parts from our extensive Oklahoma-based spares inventory, they can be shipped directly to them or to our Miami location for pick-up. We want to create convenience for our customers.”

Interested parties are encouraged to contact Alejandro Gomez or Raul A. Gomez of Legacy’s South Florida team at 305.591.3277, 405.246.5916 or 786.226.7769.
