Clayton, MO July 25, 2012 – Sabreliner Corporation recently completed major inspections of the engines and airframe on the Bolivian Government’s Sabreliner 60 at their Perryville, MO, maintenance facility. This aircraft is used for governmental VIP transport; including the Bolivian President, Vice President, and all ministers of the government.

“We send our aircraft to Sabreliner in Perryville for all of our major maintenance needs,” said Lt. Col. Guillermo Burgos, Chief Pilot. “When we are in Perryville we can trust that the aircraft is in good hands and we will get the highest quality of service.”

During the recent Hot Section Inspections, Sabreliner inspectors discovered extensive foreign object damage (FOD) on the aircraft stators and blades from an engine ingestion event. These replacement parts are very expensive and involve long lead times. Sabreliner was able to provide two exchange engines, saving both time and money. The aircraft is scheduled to deliver on July 24th.
