Dallas Aeronautical Services Welcomes Industry Veteran Jamie Fields

Dallas, TX, 18 January 2016 – Don Snodgrass, President and co-owner of industry leader Dallas Aeronautical Services announced today that Jamie Fields, formerly of Gulfstream Aerospace, joined DAS. Jamie will hold the position of Vice President Corporate Jet Repair & Overhaul, be based in Savannah, Georgia and be responsible for growing the company’s business aviation repair offerings.

Jamie’s career with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation began as a member of the GIII production line.  During his thirty-years with Gulfstream, Jamie held a variety of positions including Avionics Installer and Systems test technician; Service Center Maintenance Planner; Senior Avionics Technician; Business Officer Manager; Customer Program Manager; Senior Manager Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and Director of Repair and Overhaul Services.  As Director, Jamie expanded and enhanced Gulfstream’s Repair and Overhaul capabilities globally, focusing on APU’s, Engines, Composites, Flight Controls, Hydraulic Component Repair, Landing Gear Overhaul, as well as the Window, Wheel and Brake Shops.  Jamie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is a licensed Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic. 

Jamie became familiar with DAS over the last few years having used the company for overflow work and unique repairs that helped Gulfstream support the Gulfstream family of operators. DAS gained Jamie’s and Gulfstream’s trust as a supplier that consistently provided high quality work and timely repairs.  When asked, Jamie respond that he felt blessed to join such an industry leader for aircraft repairs, and plans to continue and grow the relationships he built both within Gulfstream and with Gulfstream operators by providing the same quality of repairs to which they are accustomed at a fair price.
