The application has proposed scheduled service between Hyannis, MA (KHYA) and Nantucket, MA (KACK). Once DOT approval has been received, Rectrix will be able to offer passengers scheduled by-the-seat competitive options for their travel plans, leveraging their extensive experience as an on-demand provider.
Rectrix has identified an important need for frequent, scheduled passenger air transportation to replace the commercial schedule left vacant when Island Air ceased operations in December 2015. The company intends on operating a fleet of King Air 350i aircraft upon DOT and FAA approval for the proposed commercial service. Other routes are also in the planning stages from Worcester, MA (KORH) and the New York area.
