June 26, 2012

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – (June 26, 2012) – Silver Airways has accepted delivery of its seventh Saab 340Bplus aircraft, continuing its comprehensive fleet upgrade. The Fort Lauderdale-based airline expects to integrate a total of 12 Saab 340Bplus aircraft into its fleet by September 2012.

Silver Airways’ latest Saab 340Bplus is named Pure Passion in recognition of the strong dedication put forth by the airline’s management and staff in launching the company and delivering a world-class product to its customers traveling in Florida, The Bahamas, Montana and the Northeast.

“A successful airline requires capital, manpower and smarts, but when you combine all of that with passion, you end up with something truly special,” said Darrell Richardson, CEO of Silver Airways. “This new aircraft recognizes our staff and highlights what makes Silver Airways unique.”

The new aircraft will be used to upgrade service on Silver Airways routes throughout Florida and The Bahamas. Each Saab 340Bplus features comfortable seating for 34 passengers, large, easy-to-access overhead bins, personalized flight attendant service, an active noise reduction system and on-board lavatories.

Pure Passion will begin operating scheduled passenger service in July 2012.
