PT Alba Runut Indonesia will be responsible for P-750 XSTOL sales in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Singapore.

New Zealand based aircraft manufacturer Pacific Aerospace Limited www.aeospace.co.nz has today announced the appointment of Indonesian company PT Alba Runut Indonesia as exclusive agents for the South East Asia region.

Pacific Aerospace General Manager for Global Markets, Mark Crouch, said the appointment of PT Alba Runut Indonesia is in response to the fast growing demand for the flagship P-750 XSTOL III aircraft within the region.  “The P-750 XSTOL has proved itself to be the best performing single engine turboprop utility aircraft on the market today, and customer demand has increased to the point where we needed additional representation on the ground”, said Crouch. “We needed someone who not only understood the superior performance of the aircraft but who also had wide ranging connections in the region so as to be able to assist customers with their requirements. PT Alba Runut Indonesia fitted that bill”.

PT Alba Runut Indonesia CEO, Kirk Evans, was looking forward to introducing potential customers to the P-750 XSTOL.  “From talking to the many P-750 operators already in the region, and hearing from pilots and engineers of other aircraft, there is no doubt in my mind that the P-750 is the right aircraft for this region”, said Evans. “What excited me most was understanding how the P-750 was able to carry heavy loads in and out of the sometimes very difficult airstrips you find in the region”.

Given the often difficult geographical terrain of much of South East Asia, and the lack of transport infrastructure in many parts, the P-750 XSTOL is the type of high performance “workhorse” utility aircraft that many operators are seeking.  “Put simply, the P-750 XSTOL will carry more payload, into more airstrips, at a lower operating cost, than any other comparable aircraft” says Crouch.  “There couldn’t be a more suitable utility aircraft for this region than the P-750”.  The P-750 is a multirole aircraft that can easily switch between utility, passenger, freight, skydiving, aerial survey, photographic survey, agricultural spraying, and aerial firefighting.

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, PT Alba Runut Indonesia will be responsible for Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Singapore.
