FRESH FLIGHT DESIGN FLIGHT SCHOOLS

July 26, 2012

South Woodstock, Connecticut / July 25, 2012 — Flight Design USA is focused on adding to the number of places where new pilots can be created. The Connecticut company has a 31-outlet network of representatives and flight schools and those that are Flight Design Pilot Centers (FDPCs) have modern Flight Design CT-series aircraft available for flight instruction and rental (to qualified pilots). FDPCs also use flight training materials from Gleim made especially for Flight Design.

“We are very pleased to add new Flight Design Pilot Centers,” observed John Gilmore, National Sales Manager for Flight Design USA. “We welcome Hampton Airfield in New Hampshire, North Coast Air in California, and Southwestern Aviation in Arizona.”

• NORTH COAST AIR (http://www.northcoastair.com/) Santa Rosa, California — Rob Clark, Owner and President — 707-542-8687 — “Our students, renters and we have enjoyed flying the CTLS and expect increasing activity with it.”

• SOUTHWESTERN AVIATION (http://www.bensonairport.com/) Santa Rosa, California — Roy Jones, Proprietor — 520-586-3262 or email [email protected] — “As a flight school the Flight Design MC has all of the right numbers for us. It has lots of room, plenty of useful load, is docile to fly, and the clincher for us was that MC is all aluminum which means it’s easy to repair.”

• HAMPTON AIRFIELD (http://www.hamptonairfield.com) — Northhampton New Hampshire — Chris Hosford, partner — 570-374-7671

“At a time when many companies are lucky to hold even, we are experiencing an expansion in our business.” Peghiny commented. “A focus on flight schools is important if we are to grow aviation. Since LSA is an excellent entry point, we feel the establishment of more Flight Design Pilot Centers is a priority.”
