dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, announced the appointment of Gilles Pettolaz as the company’s head of operations in Geneva, Switzerland.

In his new role, Pettolaz will oversee dnata’s operations, including ramp, cargo and passenger services, at Geneva Airport (GVA). He will manage a team of 600 customer-oriented employees, ensuring consistent high quality and safe services for more than 30 airline customers and their passengers. Pettolaz’s appointment is effective immediately.

A seasoned professional, Pettolaz has decades of experience in various senior roles across the transport, security, F&B, hospitality and technology sectors. Most recently he was managing director for Switzerland at RATP Dev, a leading public transport company. His previous positions included operations director at SV Group, the leading hospitality and catering group in the DACH region, and regional operations manager -based at Geneva Airport- at SSP Group, a global operator of food and beverage outlets.
