Bob Rasmussen Promoted to Chief Pilot of Fargo Jet Center Operations

Bob Rasmussen has been promoted to Chief pilot of Fargo Jet Center (FJC) Charter Operations. Rasmussen has been part of the FJC charter department for seven years and has more than 13 years of experience in the aviation industry.

“Bob’s diverse aviation background and knowledge in charter flight operations make him a great fit for this leadership position,” says Craig Holly, director of operations. “Bob understands the department’s policies and procedures, and demonstrates the leadership and ambition to strengthen, grow, and improve our operations.”

Rasmussen is an aviation professional with 5,000 hours of flight time and has pilot experience in a wide range of piston, turboprop, and jet aircraft.  Rasmussen studied at the University of North Dakota and received a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a Major in Commercial Aviation.  In addition, he holds an ATP certificate and is type-rated in the Cessna Citation 500 series and in the Bombardier Learjet 60.

As chief pilot, Rasmussen is responsible for maintaining safe and professional flight operations by ensuring the charter fleet is maintained to the highest of standards. Other responsibilities include conducting pre and post-flight duties, and management of the hiring, scheduling, and training of all charter pilots.
